Process analyzers and sensors

Process analyzers and sensors are precision measuring devices designed to continuously monitor and control production processes in industrial environments. They measure physical and chemical parameters - temperature, pressure, flow, pH, oxygen content, humidity and other technological characteristics - directly during the process, ensuring efficient and safe production. These devices are widely used in the chemical, oil refining, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, energy and water treatment industries.

Main Functions of Process Analyzers

  • Temperature, pressure and flow measurements in process lines
  • pH and ORP monitoring in liquid processing
  • Oxygen and CO₂ concentration control in fermentation processes
  • Moisture and density measurements in food and pharmaceutical production
  • Gas analysis and emission monitoring in industrial facilities
  • Direct data transfer to SCADA and DCS control systems

How Process Sensors Work

Process sensors continuously monitor process parameters using electrochemical, optical, ultrasonic or infrared measurement principles. The received signals are converted into standard electrical outputs (4-20 mA, HART, Profibus or Modbus), which are transmitted to centralized control systems. Reliable calibration algorithms and self-monitoring functions ensure long-term measurement accuracy even in aggressive process environments. Corrosion-resistant materials and protective housings allow the sensors to be used at high temperatures, pressures and aggressive chemicals.

Main Application Sectors

  • Chemical and oil refining industry – process control and safety
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing – sterile process monitoring
  • Food and Beverage Industry – Quality Control and Compliance
  • Water purification and wastewater treatment
  • Energy and utilities
  • Paper and pulp industry

AQUIS touch P

Universal multi-channel controller and display for connecting water analysis sensors, visualizing measurement data and controlling processes. Several different JUMO digital sensors can be connected in one device and the entire water quality monitoring system can be controlled.

The controller is widely used in drinking water, wastewater treatment, swimming pools, industrial water treatment, and the food and beverage industry, where reliable measurement recording, signaling, and process automation are required.

JUMO AQUIS touch S

Modular multi-channel liquid analysis controller designed to measure, control, record and visualize the most important water quality parameters in a single device. The system supports pH, ORP (Redox), conductivity, high purity water resistivity, temperature, free and total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid and flow measurements. The modular design allows for easy customization of the device to suit the needs of a specific process.

JUMO tecLine CR

Conductivity sensors are designed for accurate measurement of electrical conductivity in various water and technological processes. The wide measurement range allows them to be used in both extremely low and high conductivity media.

Sensors are widely used in drinking water treatment systems, RO devices, boiler rooms, pharmaceutical and food industries, and wastewater treatment processes.

JUMO digiLine pH/Redox

Digital pH and ORP (Redox) sensor that provides accurate and stable measurement of water acidity and oxidation-reduction potential. Digital technology reduces measurement errors and allows easy integration of the sensor into automated systems.

The sensor is used for water supply, wastewater treatment, chemical, food industry, and swimming pool water quality control.

JUMO digiLine O-DO

The optical dissolved oxygen sensor is designed for continuous real-time measurement of DO concentration. The optical measurement technology ensures long-term stability, fast response and minimal maintenance.

The solution is ideal for biological wastewater treatment processes, aeration control, aquaculture, and industrial water processes.
