The system is based on a kinetic energy storage device (flywheel), which provides uninterrupted power supply protection without batteries.
What is SHIELDX Dynamic Power Stabilization?
SHIELDX – a dynamic power stabilization system developed by Piller that continuously monitors network parameters and instantly responds to voltage fluctuations and other power disturbances. Unlike traditional UPS systems, SHIELDX does not use batteries – energy is stored in the kinetic energy of a rotating flywheel, and the response time is less than 1 ms.
How does the SHIELDX system work?
The system uses an integrated motor-generator, which rotates continuously and instantly compensates for network failures. The flywheel energy storage instantly stabilizes voltage and frequency. The response speed of less than 1 ms ensures absolute protection against short-term voltage fluctuations and harmonics.
