A unique project in Lithuanian industry
Invertas, UAB together with your partner Siemtecha, UAB successfully implemented one of the most significant medium voltage electrical solutions projects in the region. A Lithuanian sugar factory was installed and put into operation the first in the Baltic States and one of the few in Europe VACON 1000 medium voltage frequency converters.
The device has impressive 588 kW power and 6000V voltage that ensures reliable and efficient control of high-power electric motors.
Technical significance of the project
Installing a medium voltage frequency converter is a responsible task that requires:
extensive experience working with high-power electrical equipment,
precision design,
selection of reliable equipment,
compliance with safety and quality standards.
An additional challenge in this project was that VACON 1000 had to rule an electric motor made in the Soviet era.
This required adapting both the pick and other auxiliary components, which were manufactured according to old technical standards.
Combining new generation equipment with over 50-year-old technologies required special care, engineering solutions, and a non-standard approach.
