It is particularly important to ensure that <strong data-start=\"393\" data-end=\"417\">propulsion systems<\/strong> and auxiliary electrical equipment to operate reliably, as their failures can stop the ship&#039;s operation. Our team has carried out detailed <a href=\"https:\/\/invertas.lt\/en\/daznio-keitikliai-softstarteriai\/\"><strong data-start=\"544\" data-end=\"570\">VACON frequency converters<\/strong><\/a> and <strong data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"596\">static converters<\/strong> repair and maintenance work on a passenger ship <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baltnautic.lt\/lt\/ships\/ampere\/\"><strong data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"656\">AMPERE<\/strong><\/a>, standing <strong data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"681\">In Riga.<\/strong> This project required not only technical knowledge, but also careful problem-solving in the conditions on board.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb4bd08 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"fb4bd08\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bbc8654 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bbc8654\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"841\"><strong data-start=\"809\" data-end=\"839\">Job tasks and challenges<\/strong><\/h2><p data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"892\">We were approached about three main problems:<\/p><ol data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"1370\"><li data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"1047\"><p data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"1047\"><strong data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"920\">SB Propulsion System<\/strong> \u2013 Checking the Vacon 20A1 frequency converter after the electric motor burned out. It was necessary to determine the cause of the failure and restore operation.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1048\" data-end=\"1173\"><p data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1173\"><strong data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1075\">PS Propulsion System<\/strong> \u2013 resetting the internal cooling pump of the Vacon 22A1 inverter using a data cable.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1174\" data-end=\"1370\"><p data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1370\"><strong data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1231\">Static Converter no. 1 (AC500V\/60Hz \u2192 AC400V\/50Hz)<\/strong> \u2013 automatic synchronization problem with Static Converter No. 2. Manual mode worked, but automatic mode only worked in one combination.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><p data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1510\">Such failures can affect the ship&#039;s maneuverability, cooling systems, and power supply, so their elimination was critically important.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ecd0039 e-grid e-con-full e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"ecd0039\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-54fd1f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"54fd1f8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img data-id=\"60a23f7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1540\"><strong data-start=\"1520\" data-end=\"1538\">Work completed<\/strong><\/h2><p data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1590\">Our team consistently performed the following actions:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"2464\"><li data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1766\"><p data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1766\"><strong data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1645\">Diagnostics of a faulty motor frequency converter<\/strong> \u2013 we read all parameters, checked the history of error codes, and performed an analysis of the CLOSED LOOP function being disabled.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1899\"><p data-start=\"1769\" data-end=\"1899\"><strong data-start=\"1769\" data-end=\"1806\">Mechanical maintenance of the device<\/strong> \u2013 we removed and cleaned the covers, blew out the entire device with compressed air, and reassembled it after cleaning.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"2035\"><p data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"2035\"><strong data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"1940\">Testing of electronic components<\/strong> \u2013 we checked the output cascade transistors with a multimeter, and measured the output voltage.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2036\" data-end=\"2183\"><p data-start=\"2038\" data-end=\"2183\"><strong data-start=\"2038\" data-end=\"2081\">Checking the parameters of static converters<\/strong> \u2013 we made sure that the settings are correct, there are no errors, but the output relay module may be faulty.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2326\"><p data-start=\"2186\" data-end=\"2326\"><strong data-start=\"2186\" data-end=\"2214\">Loading new parameters<\/strong> \u2013 We loaded the adjusted parameter file into the PS Propulsion System pump converter and set the appropriate application.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2464\"><p data-start=\"2329\" data-end=\"2464\"><strong data-start=\"2329\" data-end=\"2369\">Tank room frequency converter check<\/strong> \u2013 the device is operating without errors, the parameters have been copied and added to the service documentation.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-08e0e86 e-grid e-con-full e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"08e0e86\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-start=\"2471\" data-end=\"2527\"><strong data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2525\">Results and recommendations provided to the client<\/strong><\/h2><p data-start=\"2529\" data-end=\"2674\">After the work was completed, all systems, except for a possible failure of the Static Converter No. 1 output relay, are operating properly.<\/p><p data-start=\"2529\" data-end=\"2674\"><strong>Our main recommendations:<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"2675\" data-end=\"2901\"><li data-start=\"2675\" data-end=\"2750\"><p data-start=\"2677\" data-end=\"2750\">Immediately replace the ASIC fan in the SB Propulsion System converter.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2751\" data-end=\"2805\"><p data-start=\"2753\" data-end=\"2805\">Perform external and internal cleaning of the converters annually.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2806\" data-end=\"2901\"><p data-start=\"2808\" data-end=\"2901\">Keep a set of spare main and internal fans on board for quick replacement.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-71aed9e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"71aed9e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 data-start=\"2908\" data-end=\"2945\"><strong data-start=\"2911\"
