Description

The VACON 20 Cold Plate has the same functions as the VACON 20, including an integrated PLC according to IEC 61131-3 and a similar power range. The distinguishing feature is the unique passive cooling system, which allows the drive to work in the toughest conditions. Thermal losses from AC drives can often adversely affect the surrounding equipment, especially in compact drives installed in a confined space without sufficient airflow. The special cooling system VACON 20 Cold Plate avoids this problem. Heat loss in the actuator can be reduced in two ways: by attaching a radiator with large cooling fins or, alternatively, by using liquid cooling. Depending on the situation, you can choose the best solution. This drive is perfect for the complete equipment due to its simple and quick installation, as well as the slim compact housing, which allows it to be installed in the narrowest places.
