Fuji Electric partner training in the heart of France – Clermont-Ferrand
This spring we had the unique opportunity to become Fuji Electric as part of exclusive partner training and together visit one of the most interesting cities in France - Clermont-FerrandThis city is famous not only for its history, but also for being the birthplace of a famous mathematician and physicist. Blaise Pascal – the author of the name of the pascal unit (a unit of pressure measurement). So it is symbolic that it was here that we talked about measurements, precision, and innovation.
Travel experiences – from a chain of volcanoes to French flavors
As soon as you arrive at Clermont-Ferrand, first of all, mountains and a chain of volcanoes greet you Chaîne des Puys. From the hotel window we saw an impressive Puy de Dome – the highest peak in the chain, which seems to protect the city. Even the air outside smelled of freshness and mountain breezes.
The city itself is cozy and compact, with cobblestone streets filled with little treasures of bakeries, cafes, and cheese shops. In the evening, after the training, we were able to enjoy authentic French cuisine - from aromatic Auvergne soups to soft, mouth-watering cheeses that locals proudly call the best in the entire country.
One evening, accompanied by a guide, we walked around the old town and stopped at Blaise Pascal statues. Interestingly, the locals are very proud of this inventor - not only streets and schools, but even cafes are named after him.
And most importantly, the people. The locals welcomed us with friendliness, and the Fuji Electric team made sure that we not only gained knowledge, but also felt the true spirit of France.
